Brown dwarf
An object between a planet and a star, roughly 13 to 75 times Jupiter's mass, too light to sustain hydrogen fusion. Brown dwarfs glow with the heat of their formation and cool for ever, passing through the spectral classes L, T and Y; there is about one for every four stars.
